Onkyo USA - Onkyo Receiver under recall for repair of HDMI board
What customer service!?! It's non-existent.
Don't expect to ever have a phone call answered. You will be on hold until *** freezers over and your will be crazy as a bessie bug listening to the same 3 bars of music. No more Onkyo products for me. I will have to repeat myself to get 100 words because I can only tell you I have an Onkyo AV Receiver that has HDMI problems that supposedly will be repaired by Onkyo.
For some reason my Serial No does not qualify even though it is same time period and same problem.
I just want to find out WHY it isn't covered and cannot contact via phone. Have submitted via email but not response yet.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $600.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Onkyo USA Cons: Cannot get any customer service, I did not like.

believe me when I tell you I am finished with anything with the onkyo name. it took 3 receivers and 2cd players for me to realize this company does not care. customer care is p..s poor and their products seem fail even with limit use.
For HDMI Board issues, contact Onkyo Parts & Service at 201-785-****, but be warned, the Special Service Program (SSP) website that they use to process the HDMI claims has been down at least a week that I've been calling and they just told me to call back in another week as of 10/12/17. Terrible customer service handling of a known defective component!
