What customer service!?! It's non-existent. Don't expect to ever have a phone call answered. You will be on hold until *** freezers over and your will be crazy as a bessie bug listening to the same 3 bars of music. No more Onkyo products for me. I will have to repeat myself to get 100 words because I can only tell you I have an Onkyo AV Receiver that has HDMI problems that supposedly will be repaired by Onkyo. When my second Onkyo unit failed I looked into it and they had recalled 4 years worth of Onkyo units. They knew of the problems with units completely shutting off sound for years. I had bought 2 units myself and both failed. I was such a loyal Onkyo buyer I replaced one of the units with the new TX-NR646. Poor quality and poor service, please never buy Onkyo. I purchased tx-nr616. I ran into same issue, no audio and no network connection. Found special repair program from website, I sent my unit for repair. Was excited when I got it back, when I powered on, OMG, no power. No signal nada. Sent unit for repair again. I bought an ONKYO DVD. It broke. I tried to buy the part from ONKYO to fix my DVD. After many emails and phone calls, ONKYO told me that they will not sell the part to me. Only to an authorized service place. There are none in Las Vegas, where I live. To mail it to/back California would have cost me about the same than buying another. Absolutely horrible I just forked over 100 dollars to ship a known defective unit to their authorized repair center. My unit was built after the batch of other units with a known defect. Even though my to nr 727 is doing the exact same thing that the covered units are doing it still doesn't qualify for them to cover shipping. Plus I'm out of a recorder for 5 or more weeks. I have this receiver onkyo ht rc 440 and i lost the sound i send onkyo an email asking question an its been 4 weeks an i have not heard anything.......i would not recommend any one to buy this *** *** onkyo ...

when i down load advanced manual for tx-sr444 i keep getting the owners manual which came with unit. have gone to all sites and no adavance or remote pdf manuals????????

I purchased an onkyo receiver in June of 2012. In August of the same year it had to be replaced at no charge. Now 3 years later its gone again.I think 3 units in 3 years is a little much. Onkyo has a problem with the sound stopping which is what happened to mine. Their service center said mine was not under the recall and out of warranty (figures). Bought an Onkyo TX-727 that broke in 9 months of purchase. After I was never able to get through to their customer service department, I had to download a return warranty sheet from a seperate company that do Onkyo's repair work. After taking it to a UPS store and paying for the shipping myself, I waited 3 weeks for it to return, and after setting it back up to find out everything works except the subwoofer. i purchased this receiver an tx nr-3008 from crutchfield as a very good price. as i already had 3 onkyo av receivers and had no problems from any of them i when ahead and bought this model. this was around january of 2010, i don't recall the exact date but after two years, after the warranty ran out, the unit started to hum. at high volume you barely noticed it but at lower volumes it was awful especially from the subwoofer. i tried all the...
